Lauren quickly made her way through La Push, the sand squishing under her feet. Wearing a fitting top and a mini-skirt, with her hair grown back, she looked attractive to almost anyone, excluding the amazingly beautiful looks. Sighing at Bella's luck, she tossed her hair to one side. It had grown back to the shoulder-length blonde curves it had once been, a poor resemblance of Rosalie's hair. Of course, every human in Forks understood they could never beat the Cullens at looks, or anything else for that matter, but Lauren was not used to being second in anything.
She still couldn't believe in Bella's existance, something that took away the crowds of guys after her. From her very first day, the girl she couldn't even call average because of her clumsiness, managed to make every boy at Forks High fall in love with her, including the amazingly, stunningly beautiful Edward Cullen, who she picked out of the crowd. Of course she did! Bella was marrying Edward in a week and a half, after being a couple for almost two years. Lauren's thoughts automatically flickered to Jacob, the almost 19-year old heart-broken guy Bella thought of as not good enough for her. He lives near here...

Jacob awoke every morning to run on the beach. Although his body was naturally muscular because of who he was, he still loved to stay in shape. He ran in the sand every morning nothing but a pair of swim suit shorts. Afterwards he'd swim back to the other end of the beach. It was just his natural athleticism getting the best of him. He was running the sun hotter than usual. The sun seemed to beat on his back and sweat trickled down him. It seemed extremely hot, hotter than usual. Probably from the tension he'd been feeling knowing Bella's big day was coming. He had tried to win her back, but it was hopeless. He felt so defeated it killed him.
He decided to hop in the water for a minute to cool off before coming back onto the beach. He spritned running hard faster than any natural human could. He eventually stopped and fell to his knees looking down emotion overtaking him. Everything happening to him seemed like a nightmare that wouldnt stop.

She watched him run, she watched as his muscular form slipped out from the beach's water to turn into a run....then she just watched him collapse onto the sandy floors. Rich dark brown audits blinked, the rim of gold sparkling brightly against the sun's fiery reflection; a smile cracked across her thin lips, stifling a giggle as she did not want Jacob Black to hear her. Most people knew about the boy's sorrow, his hurt feelings toward Bella and her soon to be husband Edward Cullen; well she wasn't interested in that kind of stuff, she was more focused on the supernatural, the odd and unexplainable. Yes, Yori Ryuuga investigated the strange phenomenon that could be found in Forks, as well as her old home town La Push. The light fluffy sand that decorated the beach tingled nicely between her toes, memories of spending her child hood came flooding back, but were quickly washed away by a crawling darkness that dwell ed within her.
She knew that there was something special about Jacob, something that set him apart from regular human beings, she just wanted to hear it coming from his own maws; when it came to getting what she wanted Yori Ryuuga was particularly good at it, hand-in-hand with her cleverness and creativity, and a certain ruthlessness, she can often got what she was seeking for. Straightening out her short blue skirt, the chocolate haired girl literally skipped out from her watch post and danced over to where Jacob was having an episode with emotions, a grin set across tight lips. "Nah, I knew dogs were loyal to their "masters" (She said with forced exaggeration) but I didn't expect you to be groveling at her feet."
Yori placed a slender finger on her pursed lips, the yellow ribbons in her hair bouncing with the constant head motions she created. She was not by any means trying to be mean to the poor boy, it was just in her personality to act as she did.

Jacob looked out at the ocean wishing he could just drown himself in it. He figured he could sink his massive body easily. But the pack would realize what he was doing so face. He'd be pulled from the waters before he could even lose conciousness. He knew there was no escaping this life. He hated not having a choice, and now nat even an inkling of hope. He looked at the wet sand he knelt in and too a handful. Jacob chucked the muddy wad into the ocean to see where it would land.
He had been alone, as usual lately. But he suddenly sensed others around him. Then a voice he was unfamiliar with approached him and spat an insult at him. He looked up to see a young girl with ribbons in her hair. She looked at him with a glare and confusion combination. He didn't understand. Who was she? How did she know him and could she be really talking about what he thought she was? He looked at her. Then down. He thought about leaving but he continued to sink in the wet sand. He figured maybe if he ignored this girl she'd go away.
