{{As our lives change, come whatever, we'll still be, friends forever}}
A Light wind picked up; which resulted in Isabella Marie Swan's hair being gently lifted up off her shoulder then placed lightly back down.
The young eighteen year old graduate of Forks High School, was standing in the court yard of the school. It was completely deserted as Summer was still going on. So Bella decided to come back to think about how much had changed. And to get her thoughts together.
Dressed in a pair of jeans and a skinny navy blue hoodie, Isabella crossed her hands over her chest.
So much had changed since her, Edward, Jasper, and Alice had walked along this yard, or even inside the halls of the building beside her. And it wasn't the school that changed. It was the seniors that once walked in those hallowed halls.
Since Graduation Bella had matured. Okay not much as she was still the clumziest girl in their class, and now family but, she had also changed. She was soon going to be Mrs. Edward Anthony Cullen. Something that over time, had changed to be a very delightful thought. Much to Alice' pleasure. And she was soon going to become a Vampire. By choice.
Edward hadn't changed much. He was still the perfect God Bella always saw him as. And he still knew the exact ways to calm her down, make her laugh, and just make her happy.
Alice was still the very compassionate girl who was completely in love with Jasper. And was still the sister Bella never had. Not to mention she was the love of Jasper's life as well.
Okay so not a whole lot had changed. Just Isabella. But she felt like so much had. Mainly because of all the events she had experienced since Graduation.
Bella mentally sighed and grabbed a basketball that someone had forgotten and rose it up in the air as she had now walked to the basketball court{the courtyard is right beside it} and she shot the ball, and amazingly, went through the net making a light swishing sound from the chains.

Click, click...The heels indicated Alice's presence, lightly pressing against the school pavement as she made her way to the courtyard. Tossing her hair to one side, she walked to stand beside Bella, silently comforting her. Dressed in a light blue top and a mini-skirt, she didn't at all feel the light summer breeze.
Alice Cullen looked at Forks High school, surprised by the connection, almost a feeling of belonging, closeness, she felt towards it. What was it, when this place was just another ordinary high school, a place they will have to leave very soon, to change Bella. Or fight werewolves, risking both their lives and the people of Forks, Oregon finding out about the two species of mystical creatures, that were far more than a little dangerous to them.
This town was more than just a temporary place to stay, more likely something they would want to return to later, again and again. Although, very soon, the two weddings would pass, and the time of celebration would end, returning the gloomy thought of changing Bella, and giving her the most painful experience she is to encounter in her long life, which will probably last hungreds of years.
Or...Not? Alice remembered the wolves' words, of the treaty having no boundaries. As soon as they change Bella, the dogs will be after them, their only goal to kill them. Of course, it wouldn't be much of a problem with the Denali vampires thirsting revenge on them, but jacob's death will depress Bella greatly.
Snapping out from her thoughts, she looked at the school building once again. No. This place has no significance, and you will never see it again. Maybe you will but no earlier than a hundred years from now, when all the people who knew you are dead. Turning to Bella, she inquired softly - "What are you thinking about?" Alice Mary Cullen could guess, with her visions showing her only one thing - Edward and Bella getting married, the guests cheering as they kiss, Bella on the ground, clearly in pain, with Edward hopelessly sitting beside her, not knowing how to ease her pain. "About your...transformation?" - she guessed aloud.

If I could dream at all- it would be about you And I'm not ashamed of it Oddly enough, the high school was peaceful in the morning. A playful wind danced through the trees, asking the leaves to play its game. They complied and sent a shivering rustle through the stillness of sound. If you were listening properly you might, just might, here the soft, heavy breathing of a young man. The boy lay on his rump across one of the school's various steel benches. The cold metal's touch seeped through his clothes, but it made no difference to him. He was a Vampire, and therefore was as frigid as death. His skin glowed startlingly white in the gray and gloomy morning light, like marble gleaming from a scorching sun.
The young man sat silently on the bench, watching through topaz-colored eyes at the desolate and abandoned school. Yet ever so often, Edward would see a student run by, typically in a hurry as they filtered into the school. He had always wished he was more like them; more normal, more un-vampire-like. Sure, eternal damnation definitely has it's upsides, but to put it simply, it was more like a curse. He was both living and dead, both mortal and immortal. Ever since he had been transformed, his life had forever changed, both in good ways, and bad. Still, Edward continued to breath slowly. It had become an annoying habit after having to play up around humans, but it wasn't at all necessary. Between us.... It burned a bit. He hadn't taken a breath for three days in fact, so now, in a mockery of a woeful human boy, Edward sucked in a large gulp of oxygen and let it out in as mournful a sigh as he could muster.
It had been that way since Edward had been bitten. He could still remember that day. Or rather, that week of excruciating pain that he never thought he'd survive through. The venom reacted normally to his blood, giving him the power of immortality; forever frozen at the age of seventeen. While he did suffer the excruciating pain of a typical vampire transformation, his sustainment of the pain was only three days or so. But the overpowering urge to feed on human flesh was enough to make him go insane. If Carlisle hadn't of helped him through it.. Who knows what he could have become.
In one moment, Edward was sitting on the bench, minding his own business. But in a matter of seconds, he was standing besides Alice and Bella, raising two skeptical eyebrows as he stifled a light chuckle. He'd always been grateful for the relationship the duo shared. To put it simply, Alice was the sister Bella never had. They were best friends, I guess you could say. And it was nice to see that they got along so well together.

The light clicks of Alice's heels went unnoticed by Bella as she had been so deep in thought. There were a few events coming up that would change her life for ever. All good but only one of them had some downfalls. The wedding, and the event after it was the best part. And then there was spending eternity with Edward. That was the best wedding present Bella could ever possibly think of. He hadn't bought but he had stolen her soul. And for that she was thankful. Because she loved him. Truly, madly, and deeply.
"You're starting to sound like Edward." Bella gave a soft laugh and sighed. "I'm just thinking about how my life's going to change for the better after the wedding. How I'll finally be happy and my soul, though it does already, will be his." Bella smiled at her.
Suddenly she gasped however as she turned around and spotted Edward. When did he get there? "Edward Anthony..." She began but found herself unable to stay mad at him. Then she placed her lips up against his gently before leaning back against him, and she talked to Alice again.
"Where's Jasper?" She asked curiously. It was very odd that the two were found apart.

Looking around, she took in the landscape for a moment or two before replying. The sky was blue, the grass only the faintest trace of yellow. The birds were not exactly singing, but making sounds, making the day beautiful. She turned around to see Edward, lying on the bench, the sun reflecting from his skin. The sun reflecting from his skin! Alice forgot that, as vampires their skin glowed in the sun like thousands of tiny diamonds. She stood up to hide, to call someone to pick them up, before the sun slid under the clouds, where it had been until that brief moment.
Alice relaxed visibly, her muscles untightening and her hands relaxing. "Wow...If someone entered the courtyard, we would be in big trouble." - she said, her voice still a touch nervous, but mostly calm. "Where were we?" She inquired, tipping her head to one side and tossing her hair. "Oh, Jasper...You know we never spend much time together, and we don't really need it. We're content like that."-she smiled in Bella's direction, and looked at Edward again.
